Here she is! My witchy wombat! Isn't she the cutest witch you have ever seen :) I just put her to bed. Who knows if she will stay there, after all the candy she has eaten tonight. We went before it got dark with the first wave of trick or treaters. She ran to every decorated door with excitement, became suddenly shy as she knocked, quietly said "trick or treat" and "thank you", then ran with excitement on to the next. After getting her fill of candy, we went back home and she had even more fun handing out candy. We got quite a few princesses this year and one dad even dressed in his kilt. She was surprised to find out that one of her friends from school showed up too. Hope your Halloween was as great as ours and I can't wait to see every ones pictures!!!

So... Its 2 am and I'm hacking up my lungs. I hope I didn't wake the neighbors. I just got out of the shower and decided, since I'm up, I might as well play a little Cafe World on Facebook and post a blog. Lol. Blah... When will this cold get out of my chest? I am so tired of being sick and tired. Oh... and I don't recommend locking yourself out of your apartment and car when its raining! Little wombat and I had to wait an hour for hubby to get home since the emergency maintenance guy was also an hour away. Errrrr... At least I picked a warm night to be stupid and wombat was fine watching the rain and playing games on the porch with me while we waited. Did I mention that waking up to a gigantic bug in your shower at 5:30am is not my cup of tea either! What a day. We did have a nice time visiting my mom and sister though. Wombat went dressed in her witch costume to show her Grammy. Tomorrow night, we trick you out of all of your treats with my witchy wombats cuteness. :) Hopefully the rain will be gone by then. NOTE TO SELF: Set clocks back! I went ahead and changed the layout for NOTEPAD C@OS today. Guess I better try to get some sleep and tell hubby to get in bed before his drooping head hits his desk. The last one was too dark and change is good. Hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween!!!

I know. I know. It's supposed to be Terrifying Tuesday. I'm just not feeling terrified today or even alive for that matter. I don't know if its the rain, low iron, or lack of a good deep more than 5 hours sleep, but I have been dead to the world all day. I didn't get anything done around here. Lucky for me, hubby worked from home today and did the dishes or I would have a mountain in the sink tomorrow. No cooking for this mommy either. I ordered pizza for din din. Little wombat was excited to get to eat pizza after school, but I think all that cheesy fresh baked goodness just made me more sleepy, cause I fell asleep for a good 15min on the couch while the hubby and wombat were watching cartoons. Which I never do. I'm just not a nap person. I will prolly sneak off to bed early tonight, not before having a few more slices of pizza of course. Bad Niki!
I don't even know if I'll bring back Terrifying Tuesday next week or even ever. I don't have to have certain days for blogging about certain subjects to have an interesting blog. Right? From now on... what you see... is what you get... whenever I feel like giving it. Lol. Expect a new layout for NOTEPAD C@OS sometime after Halloween too. I think I need to brighten things up a bit around here.
Well... I'm off to watch some Reality TV, stuff my face with pizza, and then its off to dream land early tonight. I need some energy to attack the laundry that has taken over my bed room.

Enough with the videos. Here is a poll. I'm interested in how this will turn out. The typical school year for most kids in the United States is about 180 days long. Students usually spend about six and a half hours a day in school. According to some education experts, that may not be enough time. Some states want to make school days longer while Hawaii is cutting back, giving students and teachers Fridays off. What do you think?

Have you been missing me? I hope so. After a miserable week of all three of us being sick, lots of sleepless nights, my daughter missing 5 days of school, couple of dumb doctors, and talking to my daughters teacher, it is now obvious that we have had H1N1. Thank goodness we are starting to get over it now and my daughter will have all of Fall break to recover. There will be plenty of posts next week to make up for the lack of ones this week, so for now, here are some more awards I have won from some awesome women...

I love Fall and Winter. They are my favorite seasons filled with my favorite hollidays, smells, tastes, weather, family, and friends. This year I'm not feeling the love back so much. My little wombat (daughter) started kindergarten this year and it just happens to be the sickest we have been. School + yucky weather+ bad allergies= miserable. My poor sick little wombat has missed 2 1/2 days of school all ready and will at least miss one more day tomorrow. Hoping this cold will leave us soon. Makes me not want to send her back to school though when as soon as I do, she ends up bringing home more germs and she had to start school the year of H1N1 (swine flu). Thank goodness we havn't gotten that yet. *Crosses Fingers* They have confirmed cases at her school. Anyways... I'm going to get back to being miserable and taking care of my sick girl. Thought I should explain the lack of posts lately. I hope to still do Terrifying Tuesday this week, but we'll see how I feel. Oh, and if I havn't commented on your blog in a while, this is why too. Love to ALL my loyal followers!
